6th International Subregatta - Pictures
Written by Jerzy Bin

BoatModelling.com went this morning to Neulengbach to see the U-Boots / submarines during 6th International Subregatta in Neulengbach, Austria. Event organized by Association of Model-Submariners Austria (IG-Modell U-Boote Austria).

Neulengbach is located 40 minutes drive west from Vienna.
Nice sunny weather, not to hot and not too cold. Very pleasant picnic atmosphere, models neatly placed under the roof in the shadow. The event takes place at local bath/swimming pool complex. I have seen something like 50 models but to be honest did not count them. Was just making pictures. From time to time a modeller picks up his or her model directs to the pool.

Some guys are fixing or finishing their models i.e. one of them was spraying water marks and marking on the tower of big modern submarine. Most of the guys have brought with them quite substantial workshop with lots of tools. Power extensions are everywhere, and you can smell fresh resin from newly laminated hulls.

Some hulls or sets were also on sale…

There was buffet with snack and cookies and beer. So absolutely fine events. Quite some cars from Germany, Slovak or Czech language was heard. Saw flags of Switzerland, Italy and even Australia. Perhaps later the guys from the club will give more details.

So please have a look at all the photos I have made this year 6th International Subregatta in Neulengbach.
