Koga Forum Meeting in Tczew, Poland
Saturday, 25 August 2007

After a week or so I am back from Tczew in Poland, where I attended Polish internet forum Koga meeting.

This was second annual meeting and this time well over twenty participants from all over Poland showed up and what is very important to mention also Robbox from Model Ship World forum, from Sweden, also joined the party!

The event had been planned for the weekend and majority of participants arrived on Friday night where we had decent and thorough modelling discussions till early hours of next day.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere with unbelievable dedication of local museum which offered us newly renovated exhibition space. To even greater shock, the management had prepared themselves very thoroughly by making out of our meeting a local attraction with hundreds of visitors. I definitely did not expect such welcome. In the end the meeting became at the same time models exhibition!

Unofficial parts included semi-official dinner with very relaxed atmosphere where we even got souvenir t-shirts! We did some accessories shopping, got some wood for new models and had tons and tons of fun.

I think the BIG THANK YOU should be in place here to Jarek Bakowski from KOGA FORUM, who was a big driving force behind the meeting and he made that happen.

We already have plans for next year for sure, and hopefully even more participants will be able to show up also from more countries!
