 I will try to catch up over the next few days. So today some progress report from my struggles with Alert.
Pictures show my Alert with all wales and decorations already attached, also on the stern (decorations and clinker planking). Next stage was fixing the bulwark around the hull.
While fixing stern part of bulwark I encountered small problem. Those stripes were a bit too long. Good they were too long and too short. I cut them a bit - whole part has letter L shape – and made then fit. The effect is visible on the pictures. Around the stem I had to drill holes for anchor ropes but that did not cause any issues. From now onwards everything fits perfectly. In next days I will post pictures from railing construction and further elements.
Pictures were taken with white background, perhaps the model is more visible. To be continued. Marta.
