JBModel.eu is releasing in March two new resin sets from planned larger series of Austrian-Hungarian Navy - K.u.K. Kriegsmarine.
We start with two small torpedo gun boats classified as Torpedofahrzeuge:
- Planet - built in Palmers shipyard in Newcastle in 1888/89
- Magnet - built in F.Schichau shipyard in Elbing in 1895
Models are prepared in 1:700 scale and include photo etched fret (0.1 mm thick), metal masts, decals, sets of metal barrels turned by Master, historical and technical backgrounds, painting schemes, plans. Castings are made by RMS Neptun. The sets will allow to build models from any period of their service.
Their première will take place during model show in Vienna - Go Modelling 2010 March 13-14.

Dear Modeller / Customer
We are in process of moving BoatModelling.com Shop's offer onto our new platform dedicated to online store only - JBModel.eu .
Shop on this side is still active however you may experience problems with for instance stock levels information saying that a product is out of stock which in fact we have but already on new site.
All naval ships barrels and wooden blocks have been migrated already! In near future we will move the rest.
If you experience any problems, have any questions - please contact us!
BoatModelling.com will of course remain but under portal and gallery concept.
Best regards
BoatModelling.com

Today I paid my friend Nick a small visit with the camera to get some new shots of his scratch card build of Musashi in scale ….1:100 (around 1/8”) and in that scale the model is 2.63 meters long (8.6 ft)! Musashi was the second and final Yamato class battleship and named after Musashi province. Yamato, Musashi was a member of the largest and most heavily-armed and armored class of battleships ever constructed. She was sunk after intense air attacks on October 24, 1944 during the Battle of the Sibuyan Sea
Nick has been building his Musashi for over 2 years now, and seems that it will take another year. But you can see that things do progress. Comparing to last year visit, I see now completed turrets; he is now working on the aft planes catapults.
