Musashi in 1:100 Scale

Musashi in scale 1:100
Today I paid my friend Nick a small visit with the camera to get some new shots of his scratch card build of Musashi in scale ….1:100 (around 1/8”) and in that scale the model is 2.63 meters long (8.6 ft)! Musashi was the second and final Yamato class battleship and named after Musashi province. Yamato, Musashi was a member of the largest and most heavily-armed and armored class of battleships ever constructed. She was sunk after intense air attacks on October 24, 1944 during the Battle of the Sibuyan Sea

Nick has been building his Musashi for over 2 years now, and seems that it will take another year. But you can see that things do progress. Comparing to last year visit, I see now completed turrets; he is now working on the aft planes catapults.
