Hello Ekosarisan,

Welcome
We are in Vienna, so quite close to you in the end.
You can place pictures, ask questions and all.
No questions are stupid.
And we will try to help you.

I see many people come back to the hobby. With me was the same. I came back after around 20 years
Cheers
Jerzy

Hi Peter,
Nowadays I am heavily involved in wood and let's call it modern materials e.g. pcv, resins etc.
In the past when I assembled card models I used paper as main for almost anything excluding copper wires. But I also used to paint the model trying to cover the structure of paper. I think there are two different ways and schools of card modelling.
For some card should be printed and it should be visible that a model is made of paper. For other card is just a material and modellers try to achieve simply best possible visual effect.
Also when you look at Naviga C classes. C4 I think is card models, I am not sure though. Anyway, that class forces you to use only paper and it must be visible. Once a model is painted then it will be scored as normal C class.
Cheers
