Rigging 2007/08/10 12:15 Karma: 0
I am relatively new to model ship building and have been working on a scale model of the 'Royal Sovereign',started by my great uncle. I am almost complete and will post a few pictures though i can assure you they will be nowhere near as good as the others posted on this site. Anyway, I'm stuck on how to go about making the rigging . i have rigging thread (1mm thick) and all the other things needed to make rigging, just stuck on how to make it. If any of you can help i would be very grateful!

Hello Benny!
Welcome!
Looking forward to see the pictures.

For me rigging will also be a challenge with my galleon, but with some reading materials we will handle that
Cheers
Jerzy

I'll post a few piccies soon to show you what it looks like but i warn you i am a complete novice and have made all the parts myself with no instructions at all, just carrying on my great uncle's work. The model itself was started in 1956, by my great uncle. Unfortunately he was hit by a lorry and could not complete it, so 2 generations later i am trying to complete it as a tribute to him. sorry for the history lesson!
