Hello WCKRZAK,Many thanks

I think that my decision to build the Wasa was based on both the beauty of the ship and the rich but very brief history of her,LOL

When I was in search of my next project at the time,I was looking at an online model ship catalog Naturecoast Hobbies in Florida USA.When I came across the mantua Wasa kit.At the end of the advertisment there was a link to the real Wasa.I did not know at the time that the ship was stll in existence.I then went to the wasa museum site and read as much as I could about her,and just fell in love with her.I know....sounds kind of corney

But here I am today.I think that another reason I chose her is "That shes not modelled to death" like the HMS Victory and the Cutty Sark.Don't get me wrong, these two ships are also beautiful.I too have a kit of the Victory

The Katy Cory is a wonderful ship to model!!You should post some pictures of her,I would sure like to see it!Thanks again,Cheers,Walter
