After long weeks of travel I am back at home and got few hours for myself!
Quickly started my new lathe and turned few bits and pieces for Zenit.
I still have to learn a lot in terms of how to use the lathe properly, but my first searchlight after 3-4 or four attempts turned out quite nice.

I used brass, piece of aluminium and plexi:

I keep on building bits and pieces.
I have etched parts for ladders and life rings holders and started to turn elements of anchor winch... and weekend has passed into past.

Cheers

And today I have soldered the ladders.
And filed them nicely.
Four small ladders but they took me whole evening:

I soldered them inside a wooden jig holding the sides together. Not a big deal, and I already have some experience with soldering.
The vacuum pump, still not touched. Next months should more productive I hope
Cheers
