Tczew meeting is coming along soon and I am trying to get at least something done! So in between etching business in last few days I finished off the nails completely! That was a challenge of its own, but I must say the effect rewards it!

I keep looking at the hull and I simply like it! And that is what is the most important for the modeller. HOWEVER, next time I will use even smaller rivets from my shop (head 0.8mm!). I did not have them before.
Today I started to work on the stern gallery and some windows lids:

Frames cut out of normal European walnut, planks 0.5mm x 1mm from African walnut as the rest of the hull.

My wife went to Poland for a week or so, so I am only left with those supporters. There is one more, but very shy of the camera. Brown cat… sister of the white-red.

The best way to support – do not disturb

I have a question!
I am preparing to paint the patterns on the bulwarks with some white, red, yellow and blue.
What paint would you use?
I plan to cover the planking with oil, so naturally enamels come to my mind. But nowadays with acrylics available all over. What would you use?
