Long time, no modelling.
Too much travelling. Today was the first Saturday since a while that I had some quality time!

Started to put things together, hatches turned from plexiglass. Handles are etched. Bollards are resin castings.

I finished life boats' straps and all are fixed to the deck house!
Also added spinning window rims (what is the correct nautical term?). Unfortunately bits of glue got under the glass
Well it has to stay that way

Anyone knows Rhino?

I am trying to place ZENIT text on the life boat:

From 3D back to RealD so to speak.
Prepared Zenit's life rings, painted them and then started to apply before made self developed decals. I should finish them tomorrow.

I have built small propeller assembly unit.

In parallel,
I have found at Conrad black/white dry decals that match my pattern for draft marks! Product is called SENO, and there are number of sizes and different lines. By default they are dedicated to electronics freaks

Spent most of the day applying depth marking on the hull.
Nightmare job.
Should have done that loooong time before, during hull painting. Well, another experience.

Anyhow dry decals vs. spraying over template. I am still not sure. With my next model I will the spray.
